How to manage Dynamics 365 users from Azure AD

  1. You can create Office 365 type group in Azure AD

2. Now you can add members in your AD Group.

3. Now go to Settings -> Security in your Dynamics 365 instance where you want to manage roles

4. Create a AAD Office Group Team there, and give it a name for example Sales Team

5. Make sure you select Team Type = AAD Office Group, else you will not be able to copy paste the Azure AD Object ID for a group

6. Copy the Object ID of your Azure Office 365 group and paste it in the Dynamics 365

7. Now you can manage roles from Dynamics 365 and your Azure Admin can add members in the Azure Office 365 group.
