How to create a Work Order Substatus in Field Services D365 App?

Background:

In Dynamics 365 Field Services app, you can create Work Orders and assign resources to these orders. You can also create a Schedule Board to have a big picture of your open Work Orders.

This scenario talks about a custom Schedule Board, where you don’t want to display the Work Orders that are waiting for parts.

You can configure Work Order Substatus for that.

Scenario:

All the open work orders that are waiting for the parts should not be displayed on your organisation’s Schedule Board.

Resolution:

Configure Work Order Substatuses and filter the Schedule Board.

Entity = Work Order Substatus

Name = Waiting for Parts

System Status = Open – Unscheduled

Default Status = No

Status = Active
